Australian-listed Perseus Mining's two Ivorian gold mines, Yaouré and Sissingué, produced 36,648 and 20,073 ounces, respectively, in the July–September quarter, together 15.4% less than in the previous quarter, the company said on October 27. Perseus said planned maintenance shutdowns cut mill running time at Yaouré, while its group average realized gold price fell to $3,881 an ounce from $4,086.
Analysis: The two mines produced about 1.8 metric tons in the quarter, equivalent to roughly 12% of Ivory Coast's average quarterly 2025 output, by our calculation. Perseus maintained production guidance of 215,000 to 255,000 ounces for the year to June 2027 and expects better ore grades in the second half. That outlook points to a possible recovery, but it is not guaranteed. Yaouré's all-in site cost rose to $2,393 per ounce, above guidance, while realized prices fell 5%, adding pressure on margins. The next quarterly update, typically issued in late January, may show whether performance improved.
